Description

The newsstand comic as it was actually printed: black brush-inked outlines holding flat spot colour, mid-tones made from open dot screens in cyan, magenta and yellow, and dialogue hand-lettered into drawn balloons. The palette is small and unmixed, the paper is cream, and the colour sits a hair off register from the line. It suits covers, panels, posters and anything that should look like it came off a four-colour press.
